Man wies Ihn ab, statt Ihn zu loben,
und hat Ihn gar ans Kreuz gebracht.
Doch weil Er Dich so hoch erhoben,
gabst Du Ihm auch die höchste Macht. :/:

Wenn wir durch Deine Gnade stehen
im Vaterhaus nach dieser Zeit,
dann werden wir Sein Antlitz sehen,
Ihn preisen bis in Ewigkeit.:/:
