Ta Parole est notre richesse,
Elle est la sûre vérité,
Accessible à notre faiblesse
À travers son immensité.

Ô Dieu, ta Parole recèle
Le trésor le plus précieux,
Car ton Esprit nous y révèle
Jésus, le seul chemin des cieux.
3.
Ta Parole, vivant message,
Nous apporte le vrai bonheur,
La paix, la joie et le courage
En suivant ce divin Sauveur.

Ta Parole, pure lumière,
Éclaire et guide tous nos pas
Pour que nous puissions, tendre Père,
Te glorifier ici-bas.

Ta Parole à ton Fils lui-même
Veut sans cesse attacher nos cœurs,
Dévoilant les gloires suprêmes
De la Personne du Seigneur.

Dein Wort kann überreich uns machen,
es ist die Wahrheit immerdar;
obgleich erreichbar für die Schwachen,
ist es doch weit und wunderbar.

O Gott, Dein Wort birgt Kostbarkeiten,
die niemand je erschöpfen wird.
Dein Geist will unsre Herzen weiten
für Jesus, der zu Dir uns führt.

Dein Wort, die Botschaft voller Leben,
bringt Freude selbst im Ungemach,
will Frieden, Glück und Mut uns geben
auf unserm Weg dem Heiland nach.
4.
Dein Wort, das Licht in allen Lagen,
hilft uns durch seinen hellen Schein,
in guten und in bösen Tagen
zur Ehre Dir, o Gott, zu sein.
5.
Dein Wort will unsre Blicke lenken
beständig hin auf Deinen Sohn,
daß unsre Herzen sich versenken
in Seine herrliche Person!

it is the firm truth,
accessible to our weakness
through it’s greatness.

O God, Thy Word contains
the most precious treasure,
for Thy Spirit reveals therein
Jesus, the only way to heaven.
3.
Thy Word, living message
brings us true happiness,
peace, joy and courage
following this divine Saviour.
4.
Thy Word, pure light,
brightens and guides our every step
that we may, tender Father,
glorify Thee here below.
5.
To Thy Son Himself, Thy Word,
desires to attach our hearts,
unfolding the supreme glories
of the Person of the Lord.
